What does the word ‘home’ mean to you? Perhaps you have fond memories of a house you lived in when you were younger, or maybe there’s a different place where you felt you particularly belonged. I grew up in the New Forest and there was a spot in the forest next to an old fallen down tree where I always used to go if I wanted a space to think. In the last Saddlebacks workshop we have been exploring our thoughts and feelings about ‘home’ and creating poems. Some of us sent entries to the East Sussex County Council poetry competition so watch this space!
