Omar Shahryar gave a fantastic workshop last Tuesday on song-writing. Both Piglets and Saddlebacks did some active warm-up games to get them in the mood, and then came up with lots of ideas together which created a joint group song by the end. We listened to the rhythm of words and tried to fit the right sort of beat, or pulse, to the lines of verses and choruses. Saddlebacks came up with some fantastic ideas. Their song title in the end was ‘She said my cape was fine.’ You’ll have to wait until next week to hear the finished song, but post us your comments on what you think it might be about!
Thanks to Omar for a great workshop.
See you on Tuesday for our last session before Easter.
