We had great fun in last week’s workshop inventing some revolting recipes, inspired by Witches in Stitches. Lillie came up with a classic victoria sponge with a twist. It’s the perfect treat for Saturday tea, and you’re sure to have all the ingredients already in your cupboards. All you’ll need is some flour with weevils, a rotten egg, 50 litres of curdled milk, 5 slugs, 100 ants and a couple of cups of dirty black water. Issie’s modern shepherds pie is a new take on an old classic – mix up 10 dead shepherds from the Middle Ages, some never washed armpit hair, some crushed dinosaur bones, 6 pints of wolves’ drool and some other delicious things easily found in your local shop. If you want to cook something extra special to impress your guests, you could try Ruben’s corpse casserole. Only the very best goes into this dish, including laser-cut diamonds, 3 oz of painted ladies’ thoraxes, and 15 dead business people.
Let us know how you get on with these recipes and if you have any more delicious suggestions!
